| Ordering from The Hearing Company, Inc. constitutes agreement with and acceptance of the terms and warranty policies as described herein as a legal and binding agreement.
All hearing systems are sold with a 45 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your hearing system, you have the right to cancel this purchase within 45 days after recieving your hearing system for a full refund. The hearing system must be returned in good working order. The trial period begins when you receive your hearing system. Exchanges, modifications, remakes, model changes or any other changes count as part of the 45 day trial period minus the time in shipping and the amount of time the product is in the factory for repair, remake, exchange or modification as aforementioned. All refunds shall be paid within 30 days. "A hearing aid will not restore normal hearing nor will it prevent further hearing loss."
All hearing aids come with a three year warranty from Siemens or ReSound that covers all repairs if malfunctioning and if the hearing aid is lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair during the warranty period. Loss and damage claims require a $295.00 processing fee per aid due at the time of replacement. Each hearing aid will be replaced only one time during the warranty period.
Ordering hearing aids from The Hearing Company constitutes acceptance of the Medical Waiver requirement as follows:The Hearing Company has advised you that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has determined that your best interest would be served if you had a medical evaluation by a licensed physician (preferably a physician that specializes in diseases of the ear) before purchasing a hearing aid. And you do not wish to have a medical evaluation before purchasing a hearing aid and that you are 18 years of age or older.
The Hearing Company protects your health information according to the Federal Law P.L.101-191: Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) to ensure the privacy of your personal health information. All employees, staff and other The Hearing Company, Inc. personnel follow our privacy practices and may only use or disclose your protected health information to provide you with hearing enhancement services as required by federal, state and local laws. You have the right to inspect or request copies of your hearing health information.
